Fifty One

I received a special update from the “blog people” today. Apparently I have written 50 posts on this little blog. This post will make 51. What started out as “trial run” to see where God would lead my writing, has turned into a daily habit and a  true labor of love.

Each night, when I sit down at my laptop, I am grateful for the opportunity to talk to people about my growing relationship with Christ. I hope it is helpful. I hope  others can relate to my joy, as well as the trials and celebrations I have, while I continue on this journey with Him.

Thank you to my friends and family members who have encouraged me along the way.  You fuel my fire, especially late at night when my bed seems to be calling out my name very loudly.

The main reason I do what I do is to glorify our Father. I do so many wrong things throughout the day. I constantly fall short as a wife, mother, daughter and friend.  Writing about Jesus  not only helps to keep me on the straight and narrow, but it also allows me to praise Him nightly. As I am writing, I am speaking to Him, keeping our lines of communications open. Letting Him know He is still my Main Guy.

I could have a hundred readers of this blog. I love reaching as many people as I can, sharing about my journey with Him.  It’s a gift to be able to connect with others about Jesus.

Or I can have one reader. I am fine with just the one reader.

His name just needs to be Jesus.
